Do your products have a best before? 

After opening, we recommend using essential oils within 12 months, as scent and colour may degrade over time. Once opened, store in a cool dark place and use within 12 months. 

My candle has a crack in the wax, what do I do? 

Due to the nature of our products and the natural ingredients used, some cracking to the top area of the candle may be present. This isn’t cause for concern and once burning, these cracks will disappear. 

Are your products free from artificial colourings, preservatives and residual solvents? 

Absolutely! All products are completely free from artificial colourings, preservatives and residual solvents. 

Are the essential oils natural and pure? 

Yes. The oils used in all products are ethically sourced and 100% natural. 

Are there any synthetic elements and fragrances in your products? 

No. All ingredients used in ‘The Calm Society’ products are 100% natural and can be traced back to their source. Historic testing shows our products are within EU limits for heavy metals and pesticides. 

Are your candles paraffin free? 

They are indeed. Our candles are made from vegan-friendly soy wax with no additional synthetic substances. 

Are your products free from palm oil? 

Yes. 

I have allergies, are your products safe for me? 

The entire range of ‘The Calm Society’ products are free from allergens such as; eggs, fish, nuts, molluscs and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. If you have a specific allergy that isn’t listed, please get in touch for more information. 

Do your wicks contain lead? 

Nope. They’re also paraffin free. 

How should I store your products? 

Store closed, in cool dry place. Away from sunlight and direct heat sources. See product label for more information.
